Introducing RareSats: wear the diamond within every sat
Why we built a showcase app that turns the rarest satoshis you collect into curated Apple Watch faces, an Apple Watch app, and a themed iPhone gallery.
Bitcoin is fungible — until it isn't. The Ordinals theory and a growing community of rare-sat collectors have shown that the smallest unit of Bitcoin can carry history, structure, and meaning. RareSats is the showcase app we wished existed: one that lets you wear, browse, and present that meaning on the devices you already carry.
You add a public Bitcoin address (or a specific sat number) and RareSats reads public on-chain data to identify and display the rare sats it finds — entirely on your device.
What's in the first release
- Apple Watch faces. Turn your rarest sat into a curated watch face that lives on your wrist.
- A native Apple Watch app. Browse your collection from your wrist and pick the next sat to wear.
- Automatic rare-sat identification. 20+ satribute classifications — Pizza, Vintage, Block 9, Block 78, Palindrome, Alpha, Omega, Nakamoto, and more.
- Themed iPhone gallery. A calm, gallery-style view with three curated palettes (Navy+Rose, Teal+Gold, Burgundy+Peach).
- Creative export. Turn any sat into a poster, wallpaper, or social card — generated locally.
Privacy by default
RareSats handles only public on-chain identifiers and renders everything on your device. We do not embed personal data into shared images, and there are no advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. The legal details live in our Privacy Policy.
What's next
We're working on more watch faces, additional creative templates, and richer satribute coverage as Ordinals standards evolve. Subscribe for updates and we'll send you launch notes.
